At Sit Stay Forever, we used only organic and Oeko-Tex certified  fabrics free from harmful chemicals, and designed to stand up to prolonged use—providing comfort and peace of mind for both pets and their humans.     

Cotton duck is a tightly woven canvas traditionally made by doubling the warp threads while using a single strand in the weft, creating a denser structure. This construction results in a stronger, more durable fabric that stands up well to heavy use over time.

Give your dog or cat a personal space of their own with our GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard ) organic cotton pet bed, made from hefty, durable 10 oz. chemically safe certified organic cotton duck. Each bed is hand-constructed in our Maine shop, with strong poly thread used for added durability. Our fabrics are dyed using low-impact methods that help conserve natural resources, and all materials are pre-washed and pre-shrunk for easy care. You may notice a slight natural crinkle in the cotton at first, but it will relax and smooth with use over time. 

Care is simple: machine wash in cool water and tumble dry on low.   (Medium/Large/XL/XXL landing pads may need to be washed at laundromat using super large capacity washer)

We have hand washed and dried this fabric to preshrink before manufacturing bed. This process has caused the natural fibers to crinkle. This wrinkling will lessen with time.

Our organic dog beds are made to order. We can usually turn an order around in about a week if fabric is in shop. Some size/color options may require additional time to manufacture and ship. We will let you know if your order falls into that category. All beds are hand made and may have true size variations (+/-) 1-2". We measure our beds from corner seam to corner seam with a soft tape.   

We offer free returns on our beds if they arrive damaged or defective. However, because shipping is a significant portion of the over price of our beds we cannot provide free returns for incorrect sizing or if you simply no longer want the bed.
