Round Bolster Ring and Pillow Inserts in Custom Sizes

We make two kinds of insert for round dog beds:

• Bolster ring inserts fill the raised rim around the bed. Standard sizes run XS to XL, and we can cut one to your exact measurements.
• Pillow inserts are the flat inner pillow in the center of the bed. Also available XS to XL or in a custom size.

How to Measure for a Custom Insert

1. Take your old insert out of the cover, or lay the empty cover flat.
2. Measure length and width in inches, to the nearest quarter inch.
3. For a bolster ring, measure the ring's length and width as it lies flat. Our size chart lists ring width as half the width of the fabric we cut, so send us your measurements and we'll work out the cut size.
4. For a pillow insert, measure the inside of the cover or the old pillow lying flat.

We cut ring length slightly long on purpose, so you can fold back any extra when you stuff it into the cover. Not sure about a measurement? Email us a photo and we'll help.

Made From Recycled Fiber and Oeko-Tex Certified Nylon

The shell is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified spun nylon, tested for harmful chemical residues. The fill is Eco-Fill fiber made from recycled water bottles. It's hypoallergenic and has no added chemicals or flame retardants, so it's safe for pets and for kids who spend time on the bed.

Custom Size Pricing

Custom sizes are priced at 20% over the next size up from your measurements. If your ring falls between a medium and a large, the price is a large plus 20%. Shipping is built into the price of our inserts, so there's no separate charge at checkout. We build each insert to order, usually in 2 to 3 days, before it ships.

FAQ

Can you make an insert for a bed from another brand, like L.L.Bean or Orvis?

Yes. Measure your old insert and email the numbers to admin@sitstayforever.com. We'll confirm the size and price before you order.

Can I just add more stuffing to my flat dog bed?

You can, but loose stuffing tends to clump and go lumpy again. A new insert is filled evenly, so the bed keeps its shape, and it machine washes.

Is the dog bed insert washable?

Yes. Machine wash on cool. Squeeze out as much water as you can by hand, then dry on very low heat or lay it out in the sun. Avoid high heat, which can damage the fill.

Are the inserts safe for dogs and children?

Yes. The shell is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and the fill has no added chemicals or flame retardants.

Why does it arrive so small?

We shrink-wrap each insert to the smallest box possible to keep shipping costs down. Open it right away and it expands to full size within minutes.
